Several projects listed in Marshall County’s Community Crossings Matching Grant Program are underway.
According to Highway Department Superintendent Jason Peters, Elm from U.S. 6 to County Line is already done and work is done on Rose from 6th to French Street.
Work on 9C from Sycamore to Union should be done this week, as well as Nataka Trail and Lawrence Lake Drive.
Deer Trail was also a location of road work this week.
Milestone Contractors North submitted the lowest responsible bid out of three companies that submitted bids for the projects in the amount of $1,901,806.31. The commissioners approved that bid in a previous meeting.
Several roads will be repaved with the grant funds. In addition to those previously listed, other areas include Olive Lane, Easy Street, Main, and Golfview.
