A traffic stop conducted by a deputy from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department Tuesday, April 30 resulted in an arrest.
Police say a deputy witnessed a white GMC truck make an illegal left turn on a red light at U.S. 30 and King Road just after 9:30 p.m. ET. A traffic stop was conducted on 9A Road east of King Road. The driver, Paul W. Bragg, was allegedly found to have been under the influence. Bragg was given field sobriety tests and a certified breath test, according to the report. Police say he had a sample of .143 percent.
Bragg was arrested on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
