Plymouth Woman Arrested on Suspicion of Impaired Driving

A Plymouth woman was arrested Sunday, May 5 after deputies from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to the 10,000 block of Tyler Road in Bremen for a call of an unwanted guest.


The caller advised dispatch that the female later identified as 31-year-old Tresh I. Withey, of Plymouth, smelled heavily of alcohol and was causing issues at the residence, according to the report.

Marshall County Deputies arrived on the scene and allegedly found Withey not only operated a vehicle while intoxicated while attempting to pick up her children from the residence, but she had also reportedly battered one of the household members.


Withey was taken to the hospital and once cleared, she was taken to the Marshall County Jail and faces preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated with an alcohol concentration equivalent (ACE) of .15 or greater, and domestic battery.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
