Plymouth Police Department Responds to Call of Suspicious Person

A Plymouth man was arrested Saturday, May 4 after the Plymouth Police Department responded to a call of a suspicious person.

Police were called to 1827 N. Michigan Street for a suspicious person. Upon arrival, police learned that the suspect, Travis Prater, had been reported missing from the Prairie View Group Home in Plymouth. Police say Prater attempted to flee on foot, but was taken into custody without further incident.

Prater was arrested on a preliminary charge of resisting law enforcement and booked in the Marshall County Jail.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
