A traffic stop conducted by deputies from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday, April 24 resulted in the arrest of a Plymouth man.
Police say a vehicle was stopped for aggressive driving just after 5:30 a.m. ET. While talking with the driver, deputies reportedly noticed an odor commonly associated with marijuana coming from the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle was conducted where officers allegedly found marijuana.
The driver, 29-year-old Zachery T. Marek, was arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked on preliminary charges of aggressive driving and possession of marijuana.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
