Yoder Construction will be working on some building projects this summer at the Culver Community School Corporation.
Superintendent Karen Shuman said crews will be renovating restrooms at the Elementary School, renovating the Middle School Science Lab, adding a media production and an applied skills classrooms, and address other plumbing, fixtures, water lines, and other needs.
That work will begin soon.
Additionally, the board approved a new lease with Apple for new iPads for teachers and students. The older devices will be offered to the community next month.
During the board’s last meeting, Shuman said the board approved leadership stipends for teachers who go above and beyond working with students after hours or work to better the community. The board approved the amount at $250 for qualifying teachers.
