The top 10 offenses for the month include failure to appear, operator never licensed, domestic battery, operating while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, maintaining a common nuisance, violation of home detention/pre-trial release, false informing, battery, and possession of methamphetamine.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department had 59 arrests, Plymouth Police Department had 20 arrests, Indiana State Police had 8 arrests, Bremen Police Department had 6 arrests, Community Corrections had 4 arrests, Culver Police Department had 3 arrests, Argos Police Department had 2 arrests, and the Bourbon Police Department had 1 arrest.
There were 55 accidents in April, 117 warning/citations issued, 31 security checks, and 62 case reports.
The 911 Central Dispatch received a total of 3,596 calls in April with 1,115 of those calls to 911.
The jail population on May 9 was 135. The average April 2024 jail population was 135.
There are 1,346 active warrants in the county.
