Officials from the Habitat for Humanity of Marshall County organization will be holding a dedication ceremony for the 26th family home Saturday, May 18 at 2 p.m. ET.
The home is the first home provided by the Town of Bourbon on the property at 408 E. Center Street in Bourbon.
Volunteers have been working two days a week alongside the homeowner, Kaycee Wagoner, to complete the home for her and her daughter. The home had the volunteers from the high school’s building trades program.
Habitat for Humanity builds homes for families who have a housing need, willing to help build their home and able to make an affordable monthly mortgage payment.
The family will be able to move in when the final touches are complete and the building inspector issues an occupancy permit.
