Rieth-Riley Construction crews are working on milling on Pioneer Drive and Commerce Street in Plymouth.
The overall project includes the reconstruction of the area of Commerce Street from Pioneer north to the Pretzels, Inc. property, along with the Gary Drive area, the Love’s Truck stop area, and to the INDOT right-of-way on U.S. 30.
Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt updated the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members on the progress during their meeting Monday, April 22. He noted that the asphalt will be installed Monday, April 29.
He added that a crack seal crew is also working on several roads in the city to ensure roads are maintained for longer wear before more intensive work is needed.
