The volunteer work day at the Trails at Mill Pond has been postponed for another date.
The clean-up was scheduled for Saturday, April 13, but with the ground already saturated with water from last week’s storms and with more rain this week, the clean-up day will be rescheduled.
Officials are looking at mid-May for the community event.
When the time becomes appropriate, the volunteers who have created the walking and biking trails will be preparing the trails for the summer season by clearing any brush or other obstructions from the trails so users have a clear path for activity. There is another quarter-mile of trail that will be worked on for visitors this year.
The community is welcome to help and get involved.. It is a good chance to talk to the volunteers and ask questions about the trails and to meet other outdoor enthusiasts.
The Trails at Mill Pond is located at 12512 S. Rose Road in Plymouth.
