Phend and Brown crews are working on street paving in the Town of Culver.
Phend and Brown was the winning bidder for the second round of Community Crossings Matching Grant funding in 2023 for paving projects in several areas in Culver. They are milling the roads now with paving to begin April 15.
The project areas include: Academy Road from State Street east to Town limits, Academy Road from Slate Street to School Street, Lakeview Street from Washington to College, Lake Street from Lakeshore Drive to Washington Street, Jefferson Street from Main Street to Slate Street, Marmont Street from South Main Street to Slate Street, and Tampa Street from Main Street to Nueva Gorda.
Town officials urge residents to find an alternate place to park so the new surface can be put down without obstacles next week.
