Plymouth Resident Arrested after Traffic Stop

A Plymouth driver was arrested Saturday, April 20 after a Plymouth Police Department officer conducted a traffic stop for multiple equipment violations in the area of Jefferson and Center Streets.

Police say 29-year-old Eveerth Zapata-Barahona, of Plymouth, was found to have never been issued a drivers license and was intoxicated.

Zapata-Barahona was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated over .08 and operator never licensed.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
