An officer with the Plymouth Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for multiple infractions which eventually resulted in an arrest.
According to the report, during the course of the traffic stop in the area of Liberty Street and Jefferson Street in Plymouth, it was determined that one of the occupants of the vehicle, 19-year-old Kevin Calvillo of Plymouth, was under the influence of alcohol.
Calvillo was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of illegal consumption of an alcoholic beverage.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
