Flood Warning in Effect for Yellow River in Plymouth

A flood warning is in effect for the Yellow River in Plymouth from Wednesday, April 3 to the late morning hours Friday, April 5.

As of Tuesday morning, the river was at 10.1 feet. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late Wednesday morning to a crest of 13.3 feet Wednesday evening, then fall below flood stage late Thursday morning.

Flood stage is at 13.0 feet.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the Marshall County Highway Department announced that several roads flooded with recent rainfall. Those roads include 5th Rd between Grape and Gumwood, 7th Rd between Jarrah and King, Gumwood Rd between 5B and 6th, and Hickory Rd between 7th and 7B.
