Flood Warning in Effect for Tippecanoe River

The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning in effect until further notice for the Tippecanoe River near Ora.

Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

The river was at 12.5 feet Wednesday morning and the flood stage is at 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise to a crest of 13.1 feet Thursday evening. At 13.0 feet, flooding begins to affect streets and homes in Monterey.
