Culver Community School Superintendent Karen Shuman reminded the school board members last week about candidacy for the November general election.
There are several seats up for election for the school board in November’s election. Four seats will be expiring at the end of 2024. The District 5 seat currently occupied by J.D. Uebler is expiring at the end of this year, as well as the District 2 Union Township seat occupied by Mark Maes, the District A At-Large seat occupied by Matthew McCuen, and the District 1 Aubbeenaubbee Township seat held by Teresa Thompson.
The first day to file a petition and consent for a school board member in the general election is Tuesday, May 21. The deadline to file paperwork is Thursday, June 20 by noon local time.
