The Bremen Town Council members approved a list of 10 surplus items to be declared “worthless” and to be disposed of during the Bremen Spring Clean-up Days set for Friday, May 10 and Saturday May 11.
The North Marshall Street yard waste and brush drop off location will be open from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET both days for residents to discard unwanted items.
Town of Bremen residents may discard miscellaneous trash, sofas, chairs, tires under 55” with the rims removed, car and truck batteries, monitors, TVs, computers, and printers. Appliances may be discarded, as long as they are tagged that Freon has been removed.
The things that will NOT be accepted include paints, oil, hazardous waste, microwaves, or propane tanks.
Document shredding will be offered Friday, May 10 only.
No dirt or yard waste will be accepted May 10 and May 11. The yard waste and brush area will reopen May 13.
This event is for residents of the Town of Bremen only. Staff will be checking identification during the event.
