Traffic Stop Results in Charges

Three people were charged as a result of a traffic stop in Marshall County Wednesday, March 20 just after midnight.

Marshall County deputies noticed a vehicle passing in a no passing zone and driving above the posted speed limit on King Road approaching Plymouth/Goshen Trail, according to the report.

After talking with the driver, police say deputies could smell a strong odor coming from the vehicle.

After some investigation, it was found all three occupants of the vehicle were reportedly in possession of marijuana.

As a result, Dawson Santos, 23, Jonathan Jones, 21 and Kendrick Kesler, 27 were issued an Information and Summons to appear in court.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
