Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of Rochester Man

A traffic stop in Plymouth Tuesday, March 12 resulted in the arrest of a Rochester man.

According to the Plymouth Police Department, a traffic stop was initiated in the area of Lake Avenue and Glenn Overmyer Drive at 12:35 a.m. ET for a registration violation. During the officer’s investigation, suspected marijuana was located. The officer also suspected the driver, 55-year-old Steven Snyder, of Rochester, of being impaired, according to the report.

Upon the completion of the investigation, Snyder was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
