Superintendent Updates Triton School Board

Triton School Corporation Superintendent Jeremy Riffle provided updates to the Triton School Board during a recent meeting.

Other topics included moving forward with the Special Education Cooperative with Argos and Plymouth schools. The group is hiring teachers and others for the program. He said the new effort will be very similar to the former JESSE program with services and teaching being at each individual school rather than a central location.

The school continues to show record numbers of students involved in the corporation’s internship, career, and technical education initiatives.

Updates are in progress for new curtains at the Performing Arts Center and to the sound systems at the High School gym and football field.

Riffle said he was pleased that a core group of players on the football team has also begun leadership training courses.
