A Plymouth woman was arrested Monday, March 4 just after 6:30 p.m. ET after Plymouth Police Department officers and EMS responded to a call of a man who had been stabbed in the chest.
Police say after a short initial investigation at a residence on S. Walnut St., Melissa Ann Hite, 35, was arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of domestic battery with a deadly weapon and disorderly conduct.
The incident remains under investigation.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
