Las Vegas Man Arrested after Battery Incident

A Las Vegas man was arrested Thursday, March 14 after an alleged battery incident.

According to the Plymouth Police Department, officers were dispatched to Love’s Truck Stop at 6:30 a.m. ET for a physical altercation between two men. Upon the completion of the investigation, police say it was determined that Alexander Ramanyuta, 47, of Las Vegas, Nevada, had struck and strangled another man.

He was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of strangulation and battery causing bodily injury.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
