Four people were arrested Friday, March 15 on drug charges.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Marshall County Drug Task Force officers, along with Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputies and the Indiana State Police, executed a search warrant in the 300 block of 1st Road in LaPaz. Police say it was there where 13 firearms were seized, as well as cocaine, several ounces of psilocybin mushrooms, over a pound of marijuana, over 100 THC vape cartridges and edibles, numerous digital scales and packing and other evidence of dealing. Four individuals were located in the home and transported to the Marshall County Jail.
Colt Hensley, 24, of LaPaz, faces a preliminary charge of dealing in a schedule I or II controlled substance. Cale Hensley, 24, of LaPaz, faces preliminary charges of dealing in a schedule I or II controlled substance, possession of cocaine, and dealing in marijuana. Brisa Camacho, 22, of LaPaz, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance.
Hannah Helak, 20, of South Bend, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of marijuana and visiting a common nuisance.
Camacho and Helak have since bonded out of jail. Colt Hensley and Cale Hensley each have a $25,000 cash bond.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
