Former Plymouth Police Chief Honored for Years of Service, Receives Key to City

An open house was held for former Plymouth Police Chief David Bacon Thursday where he was honored with the Key to the City.

In a proclamation presented to Bacon, it states that Bacon was hired in 1991 as a Corporal for the Plymouth Police Department and worked his way through the ranks and promoted to Chief of Police in February 2013. During his 33 years of service to the City of Plymouth, he made a difference in the lives of many in the community and his sacrifice was not unnoticed or unrecognized.

Mayor Robert Listenberger presented Bacon with the Key to the City of Plymouth for Bacon’s many, many years of hard work and he wishes Bacon the best in all of his future endeavors.
