Driver Arrested for Having Suspended Driver’s License

A driver was arrested after a Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputy stopped him for speeding in the area of Michigan Road and 5C Road Wednesday, March 6 just before 11 p.m. ET.

Police say 47-year-old Bruce Bannister had a suspended driver’s license with a prior conviction.

He was taken to the Marshall County Jail and booked on a preliminary charge of driving while suspended with a prior conviction.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
