Two people were arrested Tuesday, February 13 followed a traffic stop in the area of U.S. 30 and Oak Drive in Plymouth.
According to the Plymouth Police Department, officers conducted the traffic stop as the vehicle did not have a license plate. During the investigation, police say it was determined that the passenger of the vehicle, 52-year-old Michael Taylor, of Hazelwood, Missouri, had an out-of-county warrant. He was taken into custody. It was also determined that he was in possession of a syringe, paraphernalia, a schedule I controlled substance, methamphetamine, and cocaine, according to the report.
Police say the driver of the vehicle, 34-year-old Zachary Horton of Odin, Illinois was determined to be operating the vehicle with a suspended license.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
