Plymouth Police Department Investigations Result in Arrests

Two people were arrested Saturday, February 10 in two separate calls investigated by the Plymouth Police Department.

A traffic stop was conducted just before 12:30 a.m. ET in the area of U.S. 30 and Queen Road after a vehicle was observed running a red light. Police reportedly found suspected marijuana in the vehicle. The driver, 47-year-old Kyla Hudson of Michigan City, was also suspected of being impaired and upon further testing, she was taken to the Marshall County Jail and booked on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated-controlled substance, operating a vehicle while intoxicated-endangering, and possession of marijuana.

In a separate incident, at 2:51 a.m. ET, officers were dispatched to the area of 900 W. Harrison Street for two men fighting and both were intoxicated. As a result of an investigation, 31-year-old Cain Rodriquez of Plymouth, was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail. He was booked on a preliminary charge of battery.

Formal charges will be determined in each case by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
