Plymouth Police Arrest Suspected Intoxicated Driver

An officer with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop for a moving violation and ended up arresting the driver.

The incident occurred Wednesday, February 14 at 12:44 a.m. ET in the area of Michigan Street and Hoham Drive. During the traffic stop, the driver, 38-year-old Tomo Djurasevic, of Sterling Heights, Michigan, was reportedly found to be intoxicated.

He was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated over .15 and operating a vehicle while intoxicated-endangering.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
