A Plymouth man was arrested Thursday, February 15 after a traffic stop was conducted by the Plymouth Police Department for an equipment violation in the area of Harrison and Walnut Streets.
Police say the driver, 34-year-old Douglas Howard, had a suspended driver’s license and was suspected of being impaired. Drug paraphernalia was also found in his possession, according to the report.
Howard was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of posssession of a legend drug, possession of paraphernalia, driving while suspended with a prior conviction, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated controlled substance.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
