A Columbus, Ohio man was arrested Tuesday, February 13 after a traffic stop was conducted by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.
Police say a traffic stop was conducted as the driver was speeding and displayed improper lane usage.
During the course of the investigation, officers believed the driver was operating the vehicle while impaired and conducted standardized field sobriety testing, according to the report. The results of the field tests and a certified chemical test led to the arrest of the driver, 30-year-old Ifeoluwa O Adedeji.
Adedeji faces preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated greater than .15.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
