North Carolina Man Arrested on Suspicion of Domestic Battery

A North Carolina man was arrested Tuesday, January 30 after an investigation by the Plymouth Police Department.

Officers were called to a residence on Gary Drive just after 6:30 p.m. ET on a report of a domestic disturbance. Police say a woman reported that her boyfriend threw chemicals in her eyes and pushed her out of the vehicle. Following the alleged incident, the man traveled eastbound on U.S. 30.

Plymouth Police later apprehended the man, 55-year-old Timothy Reaves of Pfafftown, North Carolina, after conducting a traffic stop.

Reaves was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of domestic battery.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
