A Griffith woman was arrested Saturday, February 10 after a Marshall County Sheriff’s Department officer was notified of a driver operating a vehicle erratically and then parking on the side of U.S. 30 west of Oak Road.
The driver was identified as Tanya J. Embry. Police say Embry was not found to have any issues causing the concern for her driving but was found to have a suspended license with a prior conviction.
She was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
All suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
