Drug Raid Brings Arrest

A Plymouth man was arrested Sunday, February 11 after a search warrant was executed at the Red Rock Inn in Plymouth.

At approximately 2 a.m. ET, a K-9 Officer, K-9 Diesel, and deputies with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, with the assistance of officers from the Plymouth Police Department, conducted an investigation and executed the search warrant.


As a result of the investigation, James Campbell, 50, of Plymouth, was taken into custody. Campbell was found to have three active warrants through Marshall County.

During the investigation, police say Campbell obstructed justice, and suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, legend drugs, and drug paraphernalia were located.

He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a legend drug, obstruction of justice, possession of marijuana with a prior conviction, and possession of paraphernalia.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
