A Chicago man was arrested Tuesday, February 20 after a deputy with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop in the area of U.S. 30 and Pioneer Drive in Plymouth.
The driver, 21-year-old Daniel Villa, was reportedly operating the vehicle at a speed that exceeded the speed limit in that area. During the stop, it was learned that Villa did not have a drivers license.
Villa was arrested on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
