The Argos Town Council members recently discussed the cemetery mowing contract.
Town Attorney Derek Jones commented that the contract would be for two seasons. The seasons run from April 15 to November 1 of 2024 and then April 15 to November 1 of 2025. Bids would be accepted up until March 8. The bids would be opened on March 13 at the council’s regular meeting. At the March 27 meeting, a bid will be accepted. Requirements would be the same as they have been in the past. The mowing will be started no later than May 1 of each season.
The council approved a motion to proceed with publishing the bid request.
