Woman Arrested after Causing Disturbance at Economy Inn in Plymouth

A woman was arrested after Plymouth Police Department officers were called to the Economy Inn Saturday, January 6 in Plymouth on a woman who was repeatedly knocking on motel room doors at 6:15 a.m. ET.

Police say 38-year-old Amanda Minix refused to stop disrupting those who were staying at the motel and was detained. While detaining Minix, she allegedly began to resist officers, resulting in her arrest. She faces preliminary charges of disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
