A Walkerton woman was arrested Saturday, January 20 at 1 a.m. ET after allegedly operating her vehicle while intoxicated.
Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputies were notified of a vehicle that slid off the roadway in the area of 14500 Lincoln Highway in Plymouth. An off-duty officer from another county was on the scene and believed the driver, 51-year-old Jacqueline Heckathorn, to be intoxicated. After an investigation, it was found that she was intoxicated and she was arrested on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangerment.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
