Triton School Board Prepares for the Coming Year

The Triton School Board took care of the normal business of the first meeting of the year reorganizing the finance board and school board officers.

Before the regular school board meeting there was a brief meeting of the school’s Board of Finance, which chose to elect the same officers for the coming year with Terry Barnhart as President and Steve Stichter as Secretary.

The board was updated on the current cash balance for the corporation as well as being informed that the school’s investments in five CDs had made $200,000 in interest revenue which was an increase over previous years.

In the regular School Board meeting, the board once again chose to keep the current officers in place for another year with Barnhart as President, Ken Boyer as Vice President, and Secretary Steve Stichter.

The Board also chose to keep the same representatives to the various committees they now serve on and to maintain their salary at the current level of $1,850 per year.

The Board also heard a presentation from Logan Meeks and Aiden Ford on their internship at ITAMCO and were told by representatives of the company that they would like to keep both with the company on a long-term basis.
