Trespassing Call Results in Arrest

A Plymouth man was arrested Saturday, December 30 after a 911 call was made concerning a man who was trespassing on a property on Jackson Street in Plymouth.

Plymouth Police Department officers talked with the caller who told them that 29-year-old Tyler Stiles of Plymouth was standing on her back porch after being asked to leave multiple times, according to the report. Officers were aware of a verbal no trespassing warning at that property and reportedly repeatedly harassing the caller.

Police say Stiles was located less than a block away and was detained. He allegedly admitted to going to the property after being denied access and was arrested. He was booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of stalking, harassment and criminal trespass.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
