A traffic stop conducted by a Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputy Sunday, January 21 at 3:13 a.m. ET resulted in the arrest of the driver.
The traffic stop was conducted in the area of Fir Road and 4th Road. Police say the driver, 29-year-old Pedro Jimenez, was found to be driving while intoxicated. His blood alcohol level was .19, according to the report.
Jimenez was taken to the Marshall County Jail and booked on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated greater than .15 BAC.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
