Traffic Stop in Plymouth Leads to Arrest

An early morning traffic stop in Plymouth Monday, January 1 resulted in the arrest of the driver.

According to the Plymouth Police Department, a traffic stop was initiated for a vehicle registration violation at the corner of Fifth and Garro Streets. The driver, 29-year-old Franyer A. Oliveros-Santano of Plymouth, was reportedly found to have never been issued a drivers license. Additionally, the paper plate on the vehicle was found to be fraudulent, according to the report.

Oliveros-Santano was arrested on preliminary charges of operator never licensed and fraud.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
