A Rochester man was arrested Thursday, January 18 following a single vehicle accident in the area of U.S. 31 and 9A Road in Marshall County.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, the driver of the vehicle, 22-year-old Lance D. Miller, had not stopped at the stop sign at 9A Road and U.S. 31. The vehicle crossed over the median causing damage to the vehicle, according to the report.
Police say it was found that Miller had been drinking and was taken to the hospital for testing. Miller reportedly had a blood alcohol level of .11 percent and was later arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
