The Plymouth Community School Corporation is hosting a Preventative Heart Screening through the Zac Mago Foundation Saturday, February 24 at the Plymouth High School.
The Marshall County Health Department is sponsoring the event and the Bowen Health Clinic is providing services.
Preventative Heart Screenings on February 24 will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET in the Auxiliary Gym for individuals ages 10-25. Enter through Door 5.
Sudden Cardiac Arrest is the number one cause of death on school campuses, the number one cause of death of student athletes, and the number two medical cause of death for individuals under the age of 25. One out of 300 youth have an undetected heart condition that could put them at risk for sudden cardiac arrest.
