The Plymouth Community School Board will meet tonight where the members will open a public hearing for the superintendent contract.
The public hearing will be followed by the regular board meeting where the board members will reorganize for the new year. The corporation treasurer and deputy treasurer will be appointed and the board will act on board compensation and establish regular meeting dates and times.
The board will consider permission to advertise for bids for the renovations to Plymouth High School and the Plymouth Community School Corporation Service Center. They will also consider a bid for an internet service provider.
A transfinder agreement will be reviewed and the school board will consider legal counsel.
Appointments to various committees will be approved and Superintendent Mitch Mawhorter will provide a corporation update.
The Plymouth Community School Board will meet at 6 p.m. ET tonight in the Administration Board Room in the corporation’s Central Office at 611 Berkley Street.
