A Bluffton driver was arrested Saturday, January 27 after being pulled over by a Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputy for speeding.
While the officer was talking with the driver, the deputy reportedly noticed a strong odor of marijuana from inside the vehicle. Police say a search of the vehicle was conducted and marijuana and paraphernalia were found.
The driver, Paris H. Campbell, was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
