
A South Whitley man was arrested Friday, December 8 after a traffic stop in Marshall County.
The traffic stop was conducted just before 9 p.m. ET on a black 2020 Nissan Altima for not having a functional license plate light. Police say the driver, 51-year-old Daniel N. Ferrell of South Whitley, was found to have a suspended driver’s license.
Lyon’s Wrecker Service took possession of the vehicle.
Ferrell was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked on a preliminary charge of driving while suspended.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
