
A South Bend man was arrested Thursday, December 7 after deputies with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop just before 6 p.m. ET in the area of U.S. 30 and State Road 331.
Police say the driver, Roberto Alcala, had a license that was suspended with a prior conviction.
Alcala was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge operating a vehicle while suspended with a prior conviction.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
