Public Disturbance Lands Hamlet Man in Jail

Officers from the Plymouth Police Department arrested a Hamlet man Thursday, December 7 after they responded to a call of a man at the Economy Inn causing a public disturbance.

When officers arrived at 2:44 a.m. ET they found Justin Boyle, 35 of Hamlet in the middle of the drive playing music loudly on his phone and being loud. Police say it was determined that he was highly intoxicated.


Boyle was taken to the hospital for jail clearance and then booked on preliminary charges of resisting arrest, public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
