Plymouth Police Department Officers Investigate Domestic Incidents

Recent investigations by the Plymouth Police Department into domestic incidents resulted in arrests.

Plymouth officers were called to a residence on Seventh Street December 24 at midnight for a report of a domestic altercation. At the scene, officers identified a female victim who told them that the suspect had taken her phone and allegedly battered her resulting in her running from the home.

Officers went to the residence where the altercation occurred, on Monroe Street and located Ricardo Rodriguez, 51, of Plymouth.


Rodriguez was arrested on preliminary charges of domestic battery and taken to the Marshall County Jail.

On Christmas Day at 1:25 a.m. ET, Plymouth officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of N. Center Street after receiving a 911 call reporting a domestic incident.


On arrival at the scene, officers made contact with the female victim and the suspect, Juan C. Cardona-Herrera of Plymouth and he was arrested on preliminary charges of domestic battery and intimidation.
He was taken to the Marshall County Jail.

Formal charges for each case will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.


Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
