Plymouth Police Department Arrests Two in Separate Investigations

Officers from the Plymouth Police Department arrested suspects in two separate calls this week.

Plymouth officers conducted a traffic stop Tuesday, December 5 at 10:15 p.m. ET on North Michigan Street in Plymouth. The driver Soto Crespo, 33, of Plymouth was reportedly found to have an outstanding warrant for disorderly conduct. He was taken to the Marshall County Jail.

In a separate case, Plymouth police were dispatched to West Jefferson Street in Plymouth Wednesday, December 6 at 11:29 p.m. ET for an unwanted person.

Police were advised that the suspect had left the home and was located a short distance away. He was identified as Tyler Stiles, 29, of Plymouth.

The 911 caller reported that Stiles had forced entry into the residence by sticking his arm through the mail port in the door, causing damage, before unlocking the door, according to the report.

Police say a resident of the home repeatedly told Stiles to leave the residence and did so once police were called. Upon arrest, a suspected methamphetamine pipe was found on his person while suspected methamphetamine was found later on his person.

Criminal charges are pending for residential entry, possession, and criminal mischief.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
